Three steps, documented at every one of them. This is procurement, not liquidation. The paperwork is the product.
A seller publishes surplus with the full trust stack: original manufacturer, batch or lot number, CoA, SDS, expiry or retest date, quantity and storage conditions. Listings without a document say so explicitly. Absence is information on Srpls, never fine print.
Documents upload straight to the listing. Buyers can read the CoA before they ever contact you, which is exactly why they will.
A buyer opens an enquiry on the listing or makes an offer at their price. The conversation stays between the two parties, and both sides see each other's company name and verification status from the first message.
Offers are firm numbers, not haggling theatre. A seller can accept, decline or let the buyer withdraw; accepting moves the listing to under offer automatically.
Once an offer is accepted, the parties settle payment and freight directly, manufacturer to manufacturer, the way you already trade with your suppliers. The documentation travels with the goods.
Srpls is the venue, not a middleman: no commission on the trade, no escrow, no repackaging. Your quality system receives the same paperwork it would from the original supplier.
CoA, SDS, Unopened and Batch: four stamps in fixed order, like a certification panel. When a document is absent, the stamp says n/a rather than disappearing, so what you see is always the whole story.
The exchange only works if both sides of every trade are real. So membership is verified before it is granted.
Every member registers under an Australian Business Number, and we check it against the Australian Business Register before the account can trade.
Membership is for businesses that make things: contract manufacturers, brand owners, ingredient suppliers and packaging converters. Traders without a production connection are declined.
Verified members carry the badge wherever their name appears. Buyers can see who they are dealing with before the first enquiry.
Materials on Srpls trade as-is, with documentation. The seller warrants that the documents are genuine and that the goods match them: right batch, stated storage, seals as described. The buyer judges fitness for purpose from the CoA and their own QA, the same way they would qualify any new supplier.
Srpls provides the venue, the verification and the record. Payment, freight and title pass directly between the two businesses. Prices are in Australian dollars and exclude GST unless a listing states otherwise.
Materials is the first of three exchanges. The same verified network and the same documentation-first rules will apply to everything a factory ends up with too much of.
Surplus plant and equipment: tanks, fillers, cappers and inspection gear, listed with age, hours and service history rather than auction-house guesswork.
Spare manufacturing capacity: line time and co-packing runs on certified equipment, so a quiet week on one floor becomes another maker’s production slot.
Both will open to verified members first. Register interest and we will tell you when they do.
